EvaJean Pickering, Ph.D.

2001
Dr. EvaJean Pickering was awarded the 2001 Leadership Award, by Scientific Learning's CEO Paula Bolton and Founder Sheryl Tallal, in recognition of her leadership in bringing computer-based training programs and solutions to children.

2001

The Learning Disabilities Association of Utah (LDAU) honored Dr. AvaJane Pickering and Dr. EvaJean Pickering with the First Annual Dr. AvaJane Pickering and Dr. EvaJean Pickering Award. This award was established in November 2001, and it honors the Drs. Pickering for their work on behalf of individuals with learning disabilities. Formerly known as The President's Award, it is given in recognition of outstanding service to the LDAU. The new award is a silver bowl on a small black wood pedestal, with an attached plaque reading, "For the person/s who have contributed the most to the Learning Disabilities Association of Utah for the year 2001." This award is given every year for this purpose and will continue to recognize Dr. AvaJane Pickering and Dr. EvaJean Pickering for their past, present, and ongoing contributions to the LDAU, and the Learning Disabilities Association of America, for their pioneering work in the field of learning disabilities, and for nearly 30 years of tireless service.
